What writers are saying.

I had the distinct pleasure of developing the script of NONNAS with Stacy while she was at MWM. We also developed other stories and treatments together when she was at Netflix. Stacy is a brilliant creative executive who helps guide a writer with constructive notes that not only help shape but define a story. She delivers her thoughts with the utmost respect and kindness, but most of all, she is direct. You won't find yourself wasting anytime as her talent and gift to develop story are unparalleled. She is really one of the best in this industry and I truly believe all the scripts I have worked on with her are so much better because of her incredible vision and ability to communicate that vision. I would hire her a million times over. Stacy is a brilliant talent and an even better human being.
-- Liz Maccie (NONNAS, BLUE'S CLUES & YOU, "SIREN," "MAKE IT OR BREAK IT")

When I first started my career as a professional writer, Stacy Keppler developed my first script for a major studio, and I have had the pleasure of working with her for over a decade since. Her story instincts and producing talent (both in the development stage and throughout production) are unparalleled in this business. Every writer should be lucky enough to have her in their corner!

As a feature film director, having trusted voices in the development process is essential, and I was grateful to have Stacy on my team. Stacy is brilliant, a great listener, and problem solver. Like the best leaders, she knows how to lead from the front, the middle or behind. She'll roll up her sleeves and gets in the trenches with you, or stand back and help you with a 30,000 mile view to help you see the forest from the trees. Whatever you need, Stacy delivers. Consider yourself lucky if you get to work with her! She's the best!

Working with Stacy has been one of the great joys of my career. In addition to being an absolute delight, Stacy has the rare ability to tease out what is unique and special about your project while also understanding current market trends. Working with her has refined my sense of story and structure, which, in turn, has given me the confidence to trust my own voice. To top it off, Stacy is warm, personable, and whip-smart. A rare find in this industry!

Getting notes from Stacy is a delight! She’s so smart about story, structure, characters, dialogue and how she collaborates with you to help bring out all the hidden gems in your script. She delivers notes with such precision and thoughtfulness and — writers, you’ll appreciate this the most! — she understands what it takes to make changes. Her notes will help you with your process and make it less time-consuming and more efficient to make changes. I love working with her and feel she elevates my scripts with every read.

In my ten years as a professional writer I have worked with dozens of producers, executives, and reps on my screenplays. Working with Stacy was among my best experiences. It's no wonder she has such a grasp on story given her two decades of experience working with some of the best writers, directors, and producers in the industry. I've always been impressed by her ability to identify issues in a script and offer insightful ideas on how to elevate it without compromising the heart, tone, or essence of the screenplay. In other words, she always "understands the assignment" and her notes are consistently spot on. Not to mention, she's a joy to work with. I can't recommend Stacy enough!
-- Evan Parter (Writer/Producer, THE INDEPENDENT, sold scripts/pitches to Amazon, CBS, Paramount+, Relativity, Sky, Fox International, and several production companies)

When I first started my career as a professional screenwriter, Stacy was the exec at the studio who helped develop my script. She always delivered her notes with respect, clarity, and, most importantly, we had fun! She made collaboration feel engaging and enjoyable, always making you feel like she was on your team cheering you on. By the end of our collaboration, the script wasn't just better, it had deeper character arcs and jokes that hit harder thanks to Stacy's amazing insights. Plus, I leveled up as a writer in the process. I'd welcome the opportunity to work with Stacy again, she's one of the best in the biz!
